Savory Onion Bread

Make a yummy sandwich. Toast, and inhale the wonderful onion-y aroma.

Make fantastic Onion Herb Croutons: Chilled bread will dice easier, or you could spread the slices out on a tray, turning once, to dry for several hours. First, sprinkle with garlic powder, then drizzle with olive oil and toss. Sprinkle with herbs of your choice. I like oregano, tarragon and sage. Toss again. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes, stir, bake another 10-15 minutes. They will be crispier as they cool, so don’t over-bake them! Store in covered jar. If keeping for over a week,  refrigerate.
